Walk or march in place, with arms swinging, while dusting.

While listening to music, dance around the living room like a fast paced rock star putting on a live show.

If you have a small child, dance around the living room while holding the child in your arms.

Gallon milk jugs refilled with water make great hand weights. Hold one in your hand while cleaning windows with the other or while pushing the vacuum cleaner. Lifting the bottle as you work through the task will help build upper arm strength & help rid the flab.

While brushing your teeth, do deep knee bends or side leg kicks. This is a simple exercise you can also do while washing dishes, folding laundry or standing at the stove cooking.

While sitting at the computer, flex your feet or tighten stomach muscles hold for a count of 5 and release.

Jump around hop scotch style while sweeping or mopping floors.

When climbing a chair or ladder to dust high ceiling moldings take an extra step up or down before you climb up each time.

Do toe touches while picking up each piece of clothing or toys off the floor.

Instead of rocking your baby to sleep try securely holding her close to your body while doing lunges. It provides the same motion to your child but allows you a little exercise in the process.
