Take Care of Your Walls To Avoid Repainting:
Keep Walls Beautiful
Crisscross two pieces of masking tape over your plaster wall before
tapping in a nail by placing it where the tape intersects. You'll
often times prevent the plaster from cracking.
Head back To The School Supplies Aisle
Remember those big pink erasers we used in school? Pick a couple up
you can often find them for $1 in a package of two at most stores.
These work wonders on removing ink and pencil drawings on your walls
by those adorable little hands.
Scrubbing Bubbles Work Wonders
There is a spray on cleanser called Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom
Cleaner that is my life saver for many tasks. Most large stores have
a store brand of this popular cleanser for around $1. A simple spray
of the foaming cleanser and a quick wipe of a paper towel can remove
splattered food, gum, marker, and even grease. Do a small spot check
in a not so noticeable area to make sure it won't effect your paint
though! This cleanser works especially well on sticky or greasy
messes I even use it as a stove top and counter cleaner.
Give Your Little Artist A Canvas
In most stores you can find rolls of banner paper or even head over
to your local teacher's supply shop for paper on a roll. Hang sheets
of this paper around child height on your walls. This will give
children a safe place to create their creations already on the wall
and help keep them from drawing directly on your pain job. You can
also pick up a paint product to make your own black boards. Section
off a part of the wall and apply the black board or chalk board
paint directly to the wall. Have chalk on hand near the area for
your little ones to create until their hearts are content.
